What kills Sound Sultan?
Sound Sultan has been in the music industry for over a decade and a half, and during that time, he has established himself as one of Nigeria’s most successful and talented music artistes. However, in recent years, Sound Sultan’s career has taken a downturn, with many industry insiders attributing this to various factors, chief among which is his poor choice of collaborators.
One of the main problems with Sound Sultan’s recent music is the tone of his voice. He has adopted a much more aggressive and angry tone, which does not suit his mellow style of music. This new tone is especially evident in his latest singles, “Ghetto” and “IJO”.
In addition, Sound Sultan has been working with a lot of inexperienced and untalented producers, who have not helped him to produce quality music. His last album, “Oga Boss”, was particularly disappointing, with most of the songs sounding like they were unfinished or unpolished.
Another issue that has plagued Sound Sultan’s career in recent years is his lack of consistency. He has failed to release an album or even a single in over two years, which has resulted in a loss of momentum.
Finally, Sound Sultan’s biggest downfall is his lack of marketing and promotion. He does very little to promote his music, and as a result, most people are not even aware that he is still making music.
All of these factors have contributed to Sound Sultan’s current decline in the music industry, and unless he addresses them, his career is likely to continue to spiral downwards.
